I have recently taken it upon myself to learn what Adobe Lightroom can do for me.  Spending countless hours watching tutorials on how to process images have been instrumental in my ability to bring out the best of my photos.  but what I appreciate the most, at this moment, is the ability to catalogue all my images sitting on my computers.  Its a timely process, but well worth it in the end. But what this activity has also done, is allowed me to get a glimpse at all the photos I have taken since the purchase of my first camera.  At least my first DSLR, which was the Canon Rebel.  Over the years, I have upgraded as I realize the joy this hobby has brought me. The biggest joy comes from travel.  Prior to owning a camera, the desire to travel was always there, but after the initial purchase, photography added another element to my search for discovery.  Photography gave me a new reason to visit other places.  Over time, it became the main reason.

Over the past 5 years, my quest of improving my photo skills have taken me to place I never would have dreamed of before.  Prior to 5 years ago, the only 3 destinations I had visited outside of Canada were Barbados, Denver, and Florida.  All wonderful places, but quite limited.  I had always had wanderlust, but was always thought it would be beyond my financial capabilities. So we come to today.  Over 5 years after I have purchased my first DSLR.  I can proudly say I have visited some absolutely amazing places on this earth. These places include Iceland, Paris, London, Lucerne, Zurich, Reidlingen, Venice, Milan, Basel, Punta Cana, Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, and Puerto Vallarta. And this is only the beginning.  The future holds more adventures for me.
